Kaya Sushi: Experience Freshness in Every Bite of Sushi and Korean Cuisine

Really yummy spot! I loved the options they had in the menu, everything was very fresh, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The price was really great too. Their parking area is small and street parking is hard, lots of no parking zones and the busy streets nearby are packed. Took me some time to find it. Overall great place. I’d definitely go again!

Where has this place been all my life? This is the place to go for great sushi. This is the place to recommend with confidence to your freinds. This is the classic " I know a little place..". Sooooo good!

I finally found a legit Japanese Fish restaurant in the San Fernando Valley after Maya sushi changed its ownership. The quality of fish is incredibly stellar and the taste is superb. The rich flavor of the salmon the the crisp flavor of the yellowtail and the sweetness of the Sweet Shrimp is memorable. The fact that the chef fries the head of the sweet shrimp is wonderful. Paying more for the prime selection of the sashimi is definitely worth the price. The thickness of the fish is spot on and their fried food items are tasty.

I recently visited an exceptional Japanese restaurant that truly stands out. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, offering a high-quality dining experience that is hard to find elsewhere. The fish was extremely fresh, and the overall ambiance was top-notch. Highly recommended!

The Sakura rolls are really good. Chirashi bowl is fresh, there are eight pieces of sashimi in it, good value.

First thing first, the sushi is really fresh. We got the toro, salmon belly, and the yellowtail belly. Saba is a little fishy. The rice is a bit mushy but good enough. The cooked food is not as great. The agedashi tofu has too much breading and taste average. Kaiju tar tar is okayyy. The service however took forever, and they never come to check up on us. Servers reach over to get dishes for other tables. Maybe they are short staffed but they should still handle us probably.

The Ramen and Spicy Miso Soup were delicious. Was busy, but waiters still managed to get us in and even kept up with our refills and condiment requests.

The Atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, and the waitresses were very friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was out of this world, well at least the ones we got and if you are a sushi lover you should check them out. The price was also very great for the quality and taste of the food.
